About

My name is Kinsey Blake Haynes. I am 27 and based in Alabama.

I hold a Master of Arts in Teaching with a focus in Community College Education and History from Mississippi State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications with a Journalism emphasis and a minor in American Studies from the University of Alabama.

I have been photographing shows since I was 16 years old and am always hoping to capture the moments that make music great.

Until their hiatus in August of 2022, I worked with the Tuscaloosa, Alabama band, CBDB and followed them around the country: documenting their shenanigans and selling merch.

I have covered national festivals from Warped Tour, Voodoo Fest, Rock On The Range, CMA Music Festival, and New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival among others. In addition to photography, I have also interviewed over 200 bands for various outlets including Linkin Park, Halestorm, Will Hoge, Henry Rollins, and AFI.

I am also an Adjunct History instructor at Snead State Community College where I teach History.

My experience ranges in all areas from Photography, Merch Sales, Writing, Editing, Radio Broadcasting, Print Newspapers, Teaching, Social Media, and Adobe Creative Suite.

Welcome to my world!
