She was amazing! Definitely catch her if you have a chance.

The best surprise was finding out that part of @teenagewrist was her backing band! I am so stoked to see them at @furnacefest this weekend!

Meet the Cast Day 4!
Kinsey Blake Haynes, Sister Julia, Child of God, is making her on-stage debut with the Canebrake Players. Previously, she could be found in the aisles, photographing their productions (“To Kill A Mockingbird,” “A Christmas Story,” “Miracle Worker,” “Sanders Family Christmas,” “Savannah Sipping Society”). As a child, she and her MeMe (the late Polly Haynes) attended many Canebrake Players’ productions, which she remembers with fondness and joy. She is excited for the audience to have a good laugh with these sisters (and brother!)

Last year was a bad year for me. Sure, it had a fe

Last year was a bad year for me. Sure, it had a few good moments. But overall, I was not ok. My band went on an indefinite hiatus. I was in a bad relationship. I was sad.

Fast forward to March 11, 2023. I decided that going to California to see one of my favorite bands, @afireinside, (which I bought a ticket for at the height of my sadness) was going to be my reset. I was starting to find my happiness again and this was going to be the true jumpstart I needed.

What I didn't know is I would end up sitting by the seemingly only other person who showed up by themselves 🤣

I also didn't know that meeting Jace that day would bring a much needed brightness to my life that was missing.

We talked between bands (I talked wayyyy too much about Alabama Football apparently, but whatever), after the show, and pretty much every day since then. (If you know him, you'll probably think this is hilarious, because dude is QUIET. 🤣)

Life is weird and if you told me four months ago that this is where I'd be, I would not have believed you.

Here's to better days and to goofy pictures with people we care about. It gets better. 🍁🐢🦉
